Here is some interesting feedback we have been receiving from our clients. The Escrow companies we service that have made it through the real estate debacle set themselves apart from the competition and continue to invest in ways to attract new clients.

These clients have been focusing on new ways to communicate, and adding value to their existing offering. This has enabled them to keep existing business, not lose business to competition, and not be forced to compete solely on price.

Many of our most successful clients state that they have invested more in business development, and not necessarily paying for it. Many people are finding that social media sites are a great way to connect with new potential clients. If one of your clients uses a network like Facebook and uses your services, everyone they are friends with will know about it. Best part – it doesn’t cost a dime. We are also hearing that some companies have gone about it the old fashion way, employing a sales rep to establish relationships. This may be costly but it is still a viable option for many companies.

Some of our clients tout the fact that they archive records electronically, and thus have instant access to information should their clients ever need a document. Most have figured out a way to pass this nominal cost on, as it ultimately benefits the consumer. This practice allows companies to move archive costs from an overhead expense to a line item transaction cost.
